Can I use EIDE drive to the motherboard Bluray?
I currently have Dell XPS Gen 3 Computer recently bought a bluray player and the Sony BWU-100A. It is an IDE drive. I'm about to buy parts to build your own PC and who want to use this disk on my new installation, but my onboard video card, Nvidia nForce 790i Ultra I do not have the ability to make use of all EIDE devices SATA devices. Strange thing is my Dell optical drives are EIDE, but I have two SATA hard drives back ….. that my 790i Ultra to be able to do both SATA and IDE?? If this is not an adapter like the link below, I have to alow me to use my player to my Sony's new motherboard? Please help, before you decide what to do, because I really do not want to sell the car just to make a U-turn and the second, which is SATA. I'm also under Vista 64bit e additional.
